The doctor made me feel at ease, she was very friendly, caring and listened to my concerns. It seemed like she cared, did not rush me and answered all my questions. I was very happy with my whole experience and would not change anything.

I found this doctor very engaging in conversation, however she made a comment that although I did not find offensive I could well imagine that it might be upsetting to some: she stated that she 'loved' cancer. I understood that she only meant to state that that was where her interest was medically and that she meant nothing offensive by her comment. In addition, I received her correspondence with Professor Harwood this morning: in it she states that I have never been pregnant which is not true: she asked me if I had any children, which I don't; I was never asked if I had been pregnant! Again, depending on personal circumstances, I imagine that this could potentially be quite upsetting if for example, a woman had lost a child through miscarriage or other circumstances. Overall I was very pleased with my consultation and only mention the above in the hope that Miss Lawrence will reflect on my comments.
